Thank you for taking the time to read our Substack. We seem to have struck a nerve. May we direct you to read our other Substack articles for a better understanding of the topics before commenting more and consider our authentic lived experiences at NAIS POCC and beyond. While we welcome your opinions, it is wise not to presume the race of others and intentions of others based on your presumptions of their race, as that is what makes one a racist. Cheers!
Just had a conversation about the cesspool NAIS and how they are turning our school into an activist boot camp run by commanders who want our children to knee and pray at the alter of authors, celebrities and NYC consultants. At this point there isn’t much difference between a public school and an independent school other than if you want to pay to have your child mentality abused, or get it for free.
Wow. OUTSTANDING article!! Copied many parts to email the elites... Including MY private school '84 to '86 that is now fully woke. They allowed blm masks at graduation. Was a great school until the 90's. Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall. I suggest ALL of us email this article to these private schools. Get a list of the graduate classes and inform parents to never give a dime until they destroy wholeness and reestablish teaching not indoctrination of sjw's. #FIGHTTHEPOWER
this is a misrepresentation of the conference - and of NAIS member schools' commitment to equity - which includes acknowledging that racism exists and working to undo it.
I wonder what stake you have in publishing such incendiary misrepresentation.
I wonder if you've had conversations with people involved in DEI work at your family's school — and if you've entered those conversations wanting to understand, wanting to feel connected, and wanting to work, with your school, against racism honestly.
The tone in this writing makes me think not.
It sounds like you need to understand more before writing more.
You certainly need to understand more before publishing more.
I wonder if you realize who and what you're threatening - that an essay like this threatens real people - as well as the broader work that we hopefully all share: to undo and repair 300 years of racism still practiced in our country.
I would love to talk. Show me evidence of systemic racism, where is it hiding, where are the peer reviewed studies proving that it exists? Why are White students having to pretend they are POC to get into universities? Why does Harvard discriminate against Asians? Seems to me the only systemic racism is against Whites and Asians. Math is racist because black students have lower math grades? What is wrong with Meritocracy? If you needed a dangerous risky operation would you want the best surgeon or the best female black surgeon?
Thanks for posting this article. Wokeness and CRT are the the synthesizing parts of the Marxist dialect (Hegelian and Feuerbachian materialism) entrenched deeply in our institution. This wokeness isn’t new and parents never made a stink about children coming home unable to read phonetically and say that the US is a constitutional republic. While I commend you for your underground group, you really need to look deeper and expose that instead. It’s like finding stagnant water in your bathtub when in the inner piping is full of crud. You can clean the bathtub enough but the stink still comes right up. Gross analogy, you bet, but CRT is one of many sprouting stinkers. Suggest you look into Raymond Cattell. Who is he and why does he matter? Suggest you understand why Leipzig is where it’s all at, and who enabled their group think in the US?
Sounds alot like you're saying "these minorities should be happy we allow them to attend our school", which is exactly why these conferences and curriculum assessments are necessary.
Your comment sounds like projection to me. I would think it's obvious Veronica is concerned that her kids are not being taught to judge everyone by the amount of melanin in their skin.
I am so perplexed by your take on this matter. So much so that I did not need to read every line to know that you are committed to misunderstanding things you so desperately need yourself.
Students I had the pleasure of knowing, teaching, and watching develop would run laps around your dissertation on this so-called "cult of wokeness" --you have yet to wake up. My hope is that your children one day teach you a lesson about YOURSELF and it goes rubbing right up against your fear of raising a child who can actually SEE a problem, SAY something, and DO something about it.
You would not have to be "undercover" is you did not want your cover blown for reasons bigger than the things you have the audacity to write about. I look forward to the day you come forward and request to have a civil & humane conversation with any involved with NAIS POCC.
The youth suffer from what is kept from them by scared parents like yourself, there is no greater abuse I see than that. Be well.

Wow, such a disgusting interpretation. Sounds like you're a fan of only certain "boot camps"
please read the other comments. you need it too.
Start a non-woke alternative for NAIS. There must be millions of parents looking for woke free schools.

Start with these and may god bless you.

This is an utterly disturbing interpretation used for divisiveness and control
