The Cult Of Wokeness Is Frying Our Children’s Brains
A brief foray into the NAIS People of Color Conference reveals the proposed cure is actually the CAUSE of our national youth mental health crisis.
When we set out to observe the NAIS People of Color Conference (POCC), for the high cost of inclusion – the seminar cost over $900 for one individual virtual registration, we expected to see the endorsement of fringe luxury beliefs with adoring participants waving jazz hands and silent snaps (for the audibly sensitive). We did see a good amount of this, but what else we saw and experienced was much more traumatizing. (Big ups to those who also attended NAIS POCC and sent us tips.)
NAIS Review
Recall that Independent X School is part of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) which provides a one stop shop for all things “independent” school including accreditation, PR, DEI consultants, insurance, placement firms, etc. It is also the union/lobbyist/activist director for private schools akin to the National School Boards Association (NSBA) for public schools (the same NSBA that lobbied Merrick Garland to sic the FBI on parents). Recall that our favorite DEI Industrial Complex consultant, Rodney “I’m so oppressed after going to Harvard and Columbia” Glasgow, likened us – private school parents, to January 6 insurrectionists for daring to ask even one single question to Independent X School.
While only a minority of children in the country attend privates, what NAIS forces upon private schools matters because privates are not only the canary in a coalmine, they are viewed as the alternative to a public school system also besieged by woke race, sex, and gender ideology. With the sharp rise in school choice campaigns across the nation and Mama Bears like us acting as the swing voters in vital midterms come November, this will become an increasingly vital issue to rectify.
From Cultivating “Anti-Racist” Activists in Kindergarten to White Genocide
With our kids back in school, we dove into the NAIS People of Color Conference in a tryptophane induced relaxed state. NAIS POCC is a 5-day conference with 3-speakers in each of its 30+ sessions each day to which our schools send “staffulty” under the guise of “professional development” at an unknown cost in the thousands. This is only one of the many indoctrination retreats our schools waste our money on over actual academic substance.
Of course after obligatory performative acknowledgments of stolen First Nations land, it was nonstop obsession with seeing everything through the lens of race cultishly repeating affirmations: We believe it is important to have conversations about anti-racism with children. We will embed race in every aspect of our schools from staffulty hiring, curriculum, and after-school programs to devote ourselves to exorcising the ghost of white supremacist past. We believe in Ibram X Kendi, creator of anti-racism, of all things white supremacist and anti-racist, who is seated at the right hand of Kimberle Crenshaw, for us and for our salvation, he speaks through the DEI consultants, we affirm one dogma for the forgiveness of original American sin.
Coincidentally, on the third day of the conference, the Twitterverse rose again when #mayomonkeysgottago trended. (It took us a minute to realize that “mayomonkeys” meant white people.) Not affiliated with NAIS, #mayomonkeysgottago was a Twitter Space speaker livestream of black Americans unabashedly calling for white genocide. It was the natural culmination of NAIS POCC encouraging adversarial relationships between POC and whites, substantiating just how dangerous preaching racial discord is. Yet, the expected cult of “anti-racism,” was not the most troubling situation we encountered.
Toward a Comprehensive Identity-Based Illness Program
For your benefit, Undercover Mothers are steeped in this ridiculousness regularly. NAIS POCC was next level. For 5 straight days, we listened to speakers use made up words and acronyms – racialism, PWI (predominantly white institution), gloetry, concretizing, heteroism, gender expansive, indigenization of classrooms. Individuals who could not communicate in any basic understandable form of language filibustering one simple point for an hour in diatribes made Kamala look like an expert on inflation.
For 5 straight days, we sat in our yoga pants in utter confusion watching break out room after break out room of endless unhinged nonsensical narcissistic streams of collective consciousness. Individuals ranted about weekly rituals ordering wings with ranch sauce and being micro-aggressed by an employee at the wing stop shop who dared to put the wrong sauce into pronoun’s order without recognizing pronoun who proudly recounted how pronoun had dressed down the presumably minimum wage employee and berated that he better remember pronoun who would be coming back again in the coming weeks for more wings. Through the hours and hours of garbled trunalimunumaprzure with breaks for celebrations of radical joy and sessions of yoga before additional badakathcar interwoven with healing, breathing, and space, we were directed to teach through a trauma informed lens and act as a facilitator for the release of emotions that have been stored in the body for generations rather than a deliverer of knowledge. Our heads ached every day as the barrage of mundane made us feel insane. With the pressure of conformity and expulsion if we asked any reasonable question, we were left in a distressful state of perpetual confusion and despair. It’s no wonder teachers and children alike are exhausted and our children aren’t learning.
Molding Malleable Minds
This week the Surgeon General came out with a no shit Sherlock report that our children are experiencing a mental health crisis. Analyzing data from 2009 to 2019, persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness in high school students increased by 40% to 1 in 3, suicidal behaviors and ideation among high school students increased 36%, and suicide rates in youth ages 10-24 increased by 57%. Social media has obviously contributed, but considering the data is pre-covid and other variables have remained relatively consistent, it becomes apparent that the primary cause for the sharp decline in youth mental health is the unchecked cult of wokeness.
We were in this space for only 5 days, and we developed daily migraines. Our children are swimming in this morass 7+ hours a day, 5+ days a week, 36+ weeks a year. Imagine the sheer confusion of being told you can be a girl even if you have a penis. Imagine the onus of being given a daily mandate to change the world when you lack an understanding of science and history. Imagine the embarrassment of being asked to self-identify and express your sexuality at twelve years old when you haven’t had your first kiss. Imagine the exhaustion of having to self-censor yourself for 7+ hours a day in front of your teachers and classmates and friends for fear of reprisal if you accidentally misstate someone’s name or pronoun or make an off-color joke or any joke. Imagine the fatigue of being persistently prodded for your emotional status in surveys and questionnaires asking how often you are depressed, how often you consider suicide, if you feel different (at a time when every adolescent feels different), when all you want to do is get through your geography quiz.
Instead of allowing our children to develop grit and feel pride by learning and becoming knowledgeable, our children are being interviewed for pain by educators who are equally exhausted from being forced to engage in the pedagogy of discomfort and “courageous conversations.” Podcaster @Native_Liberty_ says it succinctly: “This pedagogy is designed on purpose to cause so much emotional distress, discomfort, and confusion within the mind of the student that he or she eventually succumbs to the social pressure and relinquishes their own personal private and not yet fully formed belief system to that of the social justice educator…traditional education is to present to the student information and knowledge without emotional duress and allow the student to absorb, question, reject, supplement, or synthesize their own beliefs with this new information.”
As confirmed by our observation at NAIS POCC, NAIS is intentionally fomenting the mental health crisis in our children. The only way we can show our disapproval with Independent X School is if we DO NOT GIVE! We must disassociate our institutions from NAIS. Remember, as Independent X School continues to raise tuition annually while wasting covert amounts on the cult of wokeness, this is how much heads are making:
How much did you make this year?
Shits and Giggles Corner
We told you CRT was being disguised by DEI and moving into SEL. Our children are being targeted as easy profit streams at the expense of their mental health and worse. We know that Merrick Garland’s son-in-law runs Panorama Education which profits from schools interviewing for pain in SEL surveys. Now the Surgeon General’s report on youth mental health recommends increased data collection on children. Meanwhile, within a day of the revelation of a picture of Laurene Powell Jobs and Ghislaine Maxwell intimately holidaying in bikinis together, LPJ owned The Atlantic published an article claiming child sex trafficking is a “fake” epidemic. We’re not making any claims, it just reminded us how LPJ is one of the most prolific “philanthropists” backing education “equity” reform with Emerson Collective and XQ Institute. A former donor to the ethically spotless Clinton Foundation and the silent force behind the rise of certain incompetent politicians who shall remain as faceless as pearl donning cookies, she and the Zuck are continuing their commitment to racializing America with the California Black Freedom Fund. Makes you wonder how all the coordination of Black at letters to NAIS schools were so well synced directly after George Floyd’s death. We’re sure it has nothing to do with pedagogy of discomfort and increased SEL data mining of our children. And we’re sure it won’t have any negative impact on mental well-being and vulnerability of say…our children being more easily groomed by the likes of CNN Fredo producers.
There are no conspiracies but there are also no coincidences.
