Thank you! Information is power. Majority of parents at privates are either in denial because we don't want to believe that we send our children into an environment less than the best we can provide, or because they are truly unaware. The first piece of advice to give is to research and learn, and the STOP giving even a single dollar. $0 to the Annual Fund.
This is so distressing! I'm not a parent or grandparent but a conservative. I had hoped that private schools would offer a non-woke agenda but your organization and Substack blog have opened my eyes to the sad reality. This is so unfortunate that those paying good money to these schools must fight to tear the NAIS tentacles off to ensure a proper education.
What about the staff & the trustees who are complicit, concerned only for their own position, status & standing - at the cost of all the students in their care. If they stood up to these accrediting gravy train credentialing gloss organizations, called them out to parents & withdrew from them, that might be something. Too many back handers & handshakes going on. The corruption stinks.
The headmasters and the Boards of Trustees are 100% complicit. There is NO reason why our schools must comply with the dicta of NAIS. There is no reason why our schools must be members of NAIS or any accreditation organization. In most if not all states accreditation is not required. NAIS hiring practices force experienced, non-compliant teachers out, and open the flood gates to activist, inexperienced young teachers (hello Carney Sandoe, RG 175, Storbeck). Corruption starts at the top with thé NAIS and the overpaid headmasters. Greed also stinks.
This group “Undercover Mother” has been a Godsend to our group of Mothers who discovered something wasn’t right at our all-girls private Catholic school in Buffalo NY. Nardin Academy has gone off the deep end, hiring activist teachers who are using the course, “Mindfulness and Wellbeing” to deliver disturbing content, CRT and utilizing social media influencers who promise to tell their followers that they will “celebrate their kinks” and have naked pictures of themselves posted on their Instagram sites. And that’s just scratching the surface.
It’s absolutely an assault on our children and many can’t take much more. We must rise up and protect them. The destruction of our children can no longer stand. Thank you Undercover Mother. You are hero’s. Let us know how we can further support you.
Great article. Shared. Thank you.

Yes, it’s the real systemic rot.
