Do not be fooled. DEI/ESG/SEL do not simply fade into the night. They lead renewed lives under rebranded names and concepts like community and wellness/well-being. The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) is the architect, and NAIS Schools are the blueprint.
Louder for the cheap seats: DEI/ESG/SEL is simply rebranded to wellness/well-being, which like every government program does the exact opposite of what it states.
“… the agenda advances without question that the very SEL Industrial Complex claiming to improve and progress society is the very monster causing the ills and breakdown of society which compelled these innocent children to take their own lives.” DEI/ESG/SEL have nothing to do with diversity, inclusion, sustainability, or grit, instead unleashing a transfer of unearned powers with the innocent bearing the brunt of the malicious resentment.
National policy is incubated in NAIS Schools. In anticipation of an unfavorable SCOTUS Harvard/UNC affirmative action decision, black activist alums had already filed lawsuits against Fieldston (NY) to test alternate legal theories.
If you didn’t see the true face of DEI/ESG/SEL before, it is again laid bare in the protesting/rioting across the nation. (It is, after all, a presidential election year.) Yes, Bennifer’s daughter could have inherited her pro-Palestinian leanings from political scientist father Ben Affleck, who allegedly failed to vote after stumping for HRC’s first senate campaign, but it’s even more likely she acquired them at Hollywood’s favorite NAIS Schools Carlthorp (CA) and Windward (CA) where seventh graders must declare their sexuality. NAIS Schools have been the training ground for “social justice” leaders for decades. There’s a reason more than a year before the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack, a lawsuit alleging anti-Semitism at Brentwood (CA) was already filed. Why just the other week, “The NAIS allowed a 5 minute speech to 2000 high school students claiming Israel is committing ‘genocide’ of Palestinians. After shouts of ‘F you Jews’ the Jewish students were sent to a separate room. Pres Rodney Glasgow hugged the speaker in support.”
We’ve been calling on donors to stop giving to hold schools accountable. Did it really take 2 years to catch on?
Apparently, it also took 2 years to catch on to holding trustees accountable. It’s no coincidence supporting woefully unqualified Harvard President Claudine Gay (Exeter, NH) was Harvard board chair Penny Pritzker (Castilleja School, CA) (and Obama (Punahou, HI)). Credit to Elise Stefanik (Albany Academy for Girls, NY) for holding Gay accountable.
Remember, if you want to know what the agenda holds, look to NAIS Schools. Prep School Double Ivy Leaguers like Rodney Glasgow crying oppression to become school heads abounded at NAIS Schools well before Prep School Double Ivy Leaguer Claudine Gay became Harvard president. The importance of NAIS Schools in the national agenda cannot be understated – just compare Gay, a plagiarizing Afro-American Studies professor, with Andover (MA) headmaster Raynard Kington, a medical doctor with an MBA and PhD in health policy and economics who served as NIH principal deputy director and is on the board of RAND. While Gay only became Harvard president in July 2023, Kington became Andover headmaster in 2020. It’s no coincidence Kington is married to another medical doctor with specialty in child psychiatry and founded a children’s hospital Gender Evaluation Program, and Gay’s husband is an information systems analyst at Stanford’s Health Research and Policy Department. They’re just two simple couples made in Brave New World heaven.
Lastly (for now), we’re not buying that everyone is as naïve as they claim. When you had DEI and ESG policies embedded in your firm and your Dalton/Harvard alum daughter celebrated her transformation into a Marxist, you can’t play coy. Why was the social justice page of your firm’s website scrubbed? How many national pieces in the past three years spotlighted the woke disaster of Dalton alone? Where are your public denouncements when you still have a senior at Dalton? We wonder where she is going to college…
