Make no mistake about it. NAIS is not stopping at the most prestigious and most academic or urban private schools. Like a parasite, NAIS has infiltrated town and country. The teacher who speaks at conferences for NAIS’ regional accreditors, vetted by NAIS and Independent X School to educate and guide your child has sexual fantasies about her. This is the environment NAIS is actively breeding in Independent X School. Dock your yacht and wake up. It is time to demand oversight of Independent X School’s recruiting and profligate spending of our money. Instead of keeping and paying our great teachers well, NAIS advocates Independent X School create new admin positions who earn base salaries of $200K. Remind us again how it is equitable to pay veteran teachers $80K while the made-up DEI Industrial Complex position of Director of Institutional Equity makes $225K? The trust we had is gone. The burden of proof is on Independent X School to earn it back.
