You probably want to know more about our take on PE, untenable debt, and the makings for a new Bretton Woods moment. What we will say is that it all converges on you. You, us, our children. Haven’t you heard? We’re the next big thing. We are the ingredient for Big Government, Big Hollywood, Big Journalism, Big Ed all converging on Big Data. When our favorite transhumanist Yuval Harari spoke at the 2022 Nasscom Leadership Summit about dependence on data-driven technologies leading to data colonialism resulting in monopolistic corporations and tyrannical governments, it was not a warning – it was the plan. As the great consolidation continues, we are the assets in one community under data. How else will Larry Fink’s tokenization dream work?
I went to China to do new new Internet.
Abigail Shrier so eloquently explains in her new bestseller Bad Therapy: Why The Kids Aren’t Growing Up what we’ve known for some time. A great follow-up would be Big Data: The Commodification Of Our Children. Big Data is defined as a combination of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data collected by organizations that can be mined for information and used in machine learning projects, predictive modeling and other advanced analytics applications. It’s perfect to control and “reimagine” populations into the UN SDG dystopia desired by global Marxists. As usual, NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools) Schools have been the incubators.
Reddit is shitting itself over it.
The primary forces of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Web3 and AI run on data. Anyone blithely claiming AI is just another technology isn’t paying attention – McKinsey estimates generative AI could add up to $4.4 trillion annually to the global economy (not to mention how much it could eliminate…including jobs within McKinsey). Microsoft-backed OpenAI has already been valued at over $80B, and Sam Altman has already met with UAE officials in his quest to raise $7T – that’s Trillion with a “T,” for AI infrastructure. Not to mention OpenAI’s recent board additions (Pfizer board member/former CEO of the Gates Foundation/former SF Fed/UCSF chancellor, former Sony president/former counsel for Clintons and Oliver North, former Facebook gaming exec) to its already stacked board of Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce, World Bank crew. All the foundational Bigs underlying Data are covered, and that’s only one company.
There’s a reason Reddit’s IPO had value. It certainly wasn’t from r/shitposting, r/onlyfansgirls or even r/memes. It was the sheer number and staggering breadth of subreddits. Selling user data and behavior to train AI models is The Game. Why else would Discord, Snap (Evan Spiegel – Crossroads, CA), Tik Tok, X (Elon Musk – Mirman, CA and Crossroads, CA alum parent), and Meta (Mark Zuckerberg – Exeter, New Hampshire) continue perjuring themselves before Congress while operating business as usual breeding trans social contagions, eating disorders, and suicide trends? The proposed uniparty bill banning TikTok doesn’t fool us.
You know, once they absorb all data.
Similarly, it’s all diamond hands for NAIS. But surely nonprofit NAIS does not own or profit from any data? According to its 2022 Form 990, that’s exactly what NAIS does. NAIS’ greatest revenue stream is selling the data of our children and us – academic performance, school attendance, physical and mental health history, family health history, our demographics, socioeconomics, everything. To advance its mission co-creating “the future of education” through “thought leadership, research, creation and curation of resources, and direct collaboration with education leaders” NAIS “collects data, original research and environmental scanning” to the tune of over $12.56M and growing rapidly. “This information is shared through” various avenues including “online data and statistics applications like DASL [Data and Analysis for School Leadership] and market view” which are available for purchase. Data mining is so central to NAIS, NAIS’ VP DASL is listed before NAIS’ legal counsel/government relations and CFO. Is this how nonprofit NAIS grew its assets in the past decade from nothing to $59M in savings and investments? Something had to pay nonprofit NAIS President Donna Orem’s nearly $700K 2022 compensation. The nonprofit industrial complex grift is strong in NAIS.
Coincidentally, NAIS claims Independent X School’s data stored in DASL allows NAIS to provide solutions custom-fit to Independent X School’s needs. It seems when Independent X School embarks on a partnership with NAIS, it gets the kind of thinking-backed by the kind of resources necessary – to future-proof the next stages of Independent X School. Is it so difficult to believe, so out of the realm of possibility that the Sora-OpenAI-Alphabet-soups of the world highly value the data of NAIS Schoolchildren where every individual child has every point in her personhood meticulously recorded. Each eye exam, speech test, IQ test, verbal assessment read aloud into ipad apps, medical history, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, sexual proclivity, religion, identity development, linked with extensive parental race, ethnicity, nationality, sexuality, genealogy, educational background, career history, income, property ownership, social clubs, charitable activities, accessible at the strike of a key in Veracross and stored with Magnus Health. No one seems to care about the data of Haitian illegals.
I cracked into Gavin's HooliWatch. Don't ask me how I did it. I’ve got real-time GPS location, blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate. I can even see where he is in his menstrual cycle.
Where does our data go? Does NAIS sell or make our data accessible to companies like Gates’ Microsoft to make OpenAI an industry leader? All we know is at the NAIS Annual Conference on March 1, 2012 – 50 years to the day NAIS was founded and over a decade ago, Bill Gates (Lakeside, WA) advocated for replacing textbooks with EdTech and online games and increasing reliance on the internet for information sharing – all changes that placed learning online, thus allowing for data collection. Gates hoped these recommendations would be nationwide by 2022, but bragged they were already happening at leading schools. This undoubtedly included Gates’ alma mater Lakeside School to which he has donated over $80M – a small school whose motto is ironically “As you sow, so shall you reap” and whose former longtime head was a former NAIS board chair and Global Online Academy board member. It seems NAIS had been pushing online learning long before Covid. The affiliations of NAIS board members are no accident. It’s almost as if an outside authority is directing NAIS. Cui bono?
Once launched, our AI will keep learning to break more and more sophisticated parameters. Ultimately, this will mean the end of privacy.
The constant insistence on tech, tech, tech from NAIS decades ago hearkens the growing messaging for everyday Americans to invest, invest, invest. It’s interesting then that there’s been a mass sell-off by mega-billionaires and a return to low-tech by tech leaders. Just as PE wants more capital, needs more capital, AI wants more data, needs more data. Whoever owns the data owns the future.
In the end, it’s not AI and data that are the issue. Advances in technology are inevitable. The issue is who controls the data and for what purposes. As anti-white Google Gemini reveals, AI does not evolve in a vacuum. Instead, data is being abused to socially engineer society. It’s clear as day in NAIS’ 990. After our data, NAIS’ highest priority and its second greatest profit stream (but run at a deficit) is “Equity and Justice” – code for Marxism. NAIS is “re-imagining” our “independent” schools into increasingly enclosed “communities” – code for fiefdoms of forced shared international ethos – “global citizenship.” The heterodox and the question askers will be shunned with the deplorables and excluded. As Maoist Cultural Revolution survivor Xi Van Fleet emphasized on Tucker, the cultural revolution in China started with elite middle school girls – the “best of the best” – killing their principal. Based on this timeless blueprint, NAIS and its partners are using our children’s data to “reimagine” the entirety of society from elite circles on out. To build a resilient tomorrow, today.

Shits & Giggles
It’s been a hot while so just some bullets:
· Black history month saw Brearley (NY) unveil its separate but equal blacks only yearbook.
· Black history month also saw Spence (NY) serving fried chicken, black beans and plantains a lá Kamala-style Caribbean black while St. Albans (DC) opted for a more proper south of the Mason-Dixon ribs and fried chicken. What did they have to drink?
· Will nixing uniforms at NCS (DC) create equity or just increase an environment for a Mean Girls sequel – aka Queen Bees and & Wannabees to be written by another NCS teacher?
· Let’s be real here – what’s more practical for young Jane to learn: calculus or blowjobs? Spence (NY) had a panel discussion on “Book Bans/Challenges” by The Conference on Civic Engagement Planning Committee with support from Equity Council and Civics Club. This is where we are folks.
· After blowing through Covid PPP $, Atlanta Girls’ School (GA) is closing shop after DEI admits thought tuition was merely a suggestion. Totally paid to have former Lovett DEI director Brandi Hoyos on the Board. SAIS must be so proud – Much success!
· If we didn’t include it in earlier Substacks, we meant to: Independent X School, Blackstone, Blackrock. NAIS Schools continue major property acquisitions with Brooklyn Friends (NY) purchasing 383-393 Pearl Street and Kinkaid (TX) nearing its $180M expansion goal. With ESG ensuring oil prices stay well above the Trump years, Kinkaid alums James A. Baker III, Robert L. Bradley, Jr. George W. Bush, Jeb Bush, and Lauren Bush should have given generously.
